Sadness, and kiriban at 10 000...

My Grandmother died on Wednesday night, after being seriously ill & hovering between life and death for the past few weeks - I'm working on a painting in memory of her. So with hospital visits and now funeral arrangements I haven't been online as much as usual and apologise about delays responding to people

I've not done the kiriban thing before, but thought this would be a good chance to offer a little something back to this community I love being part of... so I will paint a fairy ACEO for whoever of my watchers catches my 10 000th page view, or closest to it and can send me a screen capture. ACEO size is 2.5in x 3.5in and the painting can be based on anything in my gallery which will reasonably fit into the size.

I hope everyones year is going well so far and look forward to seeing more amazing art from all on deviantart in 2008!

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother, I hope she didn't suffer and is now at peace. At least you got to see her close to the end. BIG

I know what you're going through, I lost my last grandparent last August and even though she was almost 95 it still came as a shock.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and illness.. life can seem so very bleak at times..It will get better. I'm glad to hear that you will use your art to cope with this. You are an amazing artist and I look forward to seeing more of your works in due time.
