I've not done the kiriban thing before, but thought this would be a good chance to offer a little something back to this community I love being part of... so I will paint a fairy ACEO for whoever of my watchers catches my 10 000th page view, or nearest above it, and can send me a screen capture. ACEO size is 2.5in x 3.5in and the painting can be based on anything in my gallery which will reasonably fit into the size.

Clubs I'm a member of...

My Grandmother died on Wednesday night, after being seriously ill & hovering between life and death for the past few weeks - I'm working on a painting in memory of her. So with hospital visits and now funeral arrangements I haven't been online as much as usual and apologise about delays responding to people

Hope everyone has had a good Summer
I love all times of year, so am now looking forward to leaves falling, darkening nights and Halloween...

I finished my archaeology A level and got an 'A' - I'm now thinking about taking a degree in archaeology, but have probably left it too late to start this year so will do another A level to fill in time until I can join degree course - am thinking of learning French, as its the only language I know a reasonable amount of the basics of

The next things I want to focus on developing in my art are a sense of movement and more dynamic/interesting compositions... I've noticed that most of my art has a figure, boringly centred and in a fixed pose... so will work on this

I've also been tagged twice in the last week so I will try and get round to putting a response up here ASAP

Just thought I should update my journal to let folks know how things are going with me, and as I've had the same entry up all Summer

I have decided im going to try and make my art follow the turning of the seasons... so after the darkness of the Winter months I hope light, colour and life will grow in my work!
Im doing a course in Archaeology at the moment too, which is taking up alot of my time as I have to complete a project for it within the next few weeks...Im attempting to use herbal dyes authentic to the Medieval period
