Yule card for my boyfriend...
Celtic knotwork referenced from 'Celtic Art' by George Bain - my first ever attempt to do knotwork properly using grids and measurements
Amazing... I LOVE the know work. I should look up this George Bain person. My meager attempts at knot work have been dismal at best. My fathers Yule present had an attempt. I will post it soon.
Thank you! I have never really made a serious attempt at it before, mainly due to not bothering with the grids and so not being able to make it work... I'm glad I made the effort now, as I found it easier than it looked to work with the grids, so will probably do more knotwork now...
Lol, well I did warn you Thanks for the compliments on the knotwork, though I still think yours is amazing and closer to how it should be. I agree the Bain book is cool, I will have a go at trying out some more designs at some point
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
